Vitamin B1 Thiamin... Brain Power

Vitamin B1, Also known as Thiamin has the ability to make energy readily available for the body.

  • Tiredness
  • Weakness
  • Inability to Concentrate
  • Loss of Appetite
  • Mental Confusion
  • Reoccurring Canker Sores
  • Numbness
  • Leg Cramping
  • Burning Feet
B1/Thiamin has a tendency to interact with enzymes for the purpose of energy. This is done by breaking down carbohydrates, as well as breaking down the molecules within foods.  Thiamin is a true blessing, It has the wonderful ability to store energy in the body for a later time and boost brain power. If you are thiamin deficient, fatigue can over takes you despite your eating healthy or in-taking high energy foods for fuel. The breaking down process and transference of foods into energy can be very slow or maybe not processing at all. This can definitely cause sluggishness in the brain response. If you think you may be B deficient, Talk to your physician (ND or MD) to be sure...
* NOTE: Sometimes having vitamin deficiencies can mask itself in mental illnesses. So be sure to get properly diagnosed before taking medications for mental illness.

  • Beriberi (A nutritional disorder that effects the nerves and the heart)
