The Heart, Hypertension, and Genetic Disposition

High Blood Pressure usually occurs due to "Strain on the heart", which can arise from a variety of conditions including stress, diet, artherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), High Cholesterol, diabetes, environmental factors as well as lifestyle choices. When these factors meet with a genetic disposition, hypertension can occur in two out of three individuals.
